We have also come to realize that in some cases, clients need certainty in terms of costs and in terms of the timing related to their respective issues. With this in mind, our firm offers several billing arrangements which consist of time-based services, flat rates on certain services and contingency based services. For time-based services, our firm requires an up-front retainer which will be discussed with the lawyer based on the issues to be addressed. We may be able to offer flat rates on certain services, to be determined in discussions with the lawyer.

Initial Consultation and Legal Opinion
We provide a free initial consultation which gives you and our offices an opportunity to determine if your needs can be met by our firm. An email with details of your matter with a brief description will help. We will perform a preliminary assessment of what you will require, and then together, we can meet to determine if our firm is right for you.
If it is a matter where we are able to provide you legal advice, we can then schedule a proper appointment. Reviewing your whole case/matter, supporting evidence and giving you a legal opinion is not a free service. Such an assessment is billed hourly, or flat rate for some matters.
Appointments
All services are by appointment only at our office during business hours (8:30 am – 4:30 pm Monday to Thursday, 8:30 am - 3:00 pm Friday), excluding Statutory Holidays. If necessary and depending on the circumstances, we can meet with clients after business hours. Please contact our offices to inquire about the same.
